No. This is the core promise. The AI can reorder, reframe, and emphasize your existing experience to match a job, but it has hard rules against inventing employers, dates, titles, or skills you didn’t provide. Everything on your tailored resume comes from what you uploaded.

How does it work, step by step?

First, upload your resume (PDF, DOCX, or TXT) — we extract it into an editable profile. Second, paste the job description. Third, click generate and we rewrite your resume to match the role. Fourth, pick one of four ATS templates and download a PDF or Microsoft Word (.docx) file.

What is an ATS, and are the resumes ATS-friendly?

An Applicant Tracking System is the software employers use to scan and filter resumes. All of our templates are single-column, text-based, and use standard section headings, so they parse cleanly and reliably.

Can I edit what the AI extracted?

Accepted Answer

Yes. After uploading, you get a structured profile you can fully edit — fix a title, add a bullet, correct a date. Your edits are saved and used for every future tailored resume.

Can I keep more than one resume?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can save multiple resume profiles under one account — for different career tracks or types of roles you’re targeting — and switch between them from the sidebar. Each can be tailored to any job independently. Personal plans are for your own job search; using the service for other people or clients requires a Business plan.

What file formats can I download?

You can export a print-ready PDF on any plan. Editable Microsoft Word (.docx) export — which opens in Word on Windows and Mac, and in Google Docs — is available on the Pro and Max plans for further fine-tuning.

Is my data private?

Is the Max (one-time) plan really unlimited forever?

Max gives you unlimited tailoring for your own job search, with no recurring payment, for as long as your account and the service exist. “Unlimited” means unlimited ordinary personal use — it’s subject to fair-use and anti-abuse limits, and it can’t be used for business or on behalf of other people.
